New Game Unforeseen Incidents Explores Conspiracy in Small-Town America

18 Sep 2024

Unforeseen Incidents, the point-and-click adventure from Backwoods Entertainment and Application Systems Heidelberg, debuts today on iOS and Android. Set in small-town America as a strange disease begins to sweep the nation, you'll play as a local handyman exploring the town, attempting to unravel the truth of what's taking place.

In Unforeseen Incidents, you play as Harper Pendrell. When he stumbles on a woman dying in the street of a strange new disease, it sets him on the path of an investigation that could uncover the reason behind a mysterious epidemic centering on his home of Yelltown.

The Yelltown Strain

With a fully English and German voice track, multiple unique backgrounds and a conspiracy-driven thriller storyline, Unforeseen Incidents promises to draw you in and not let go until you reach the conclusion. The game hits storefronts today, so you can see just how well it stands up on mobile after high praise from its initial release on PC.

I'll be reviewing Unforeseen Incidents in the coming days to see how well it holds up on mobile, but I'd be surprised if there are any technical issues given how undemanding point-and-click games usually are performance-wise. But we'll have to see just how well it holds up in terms of the narrative and other aspects. So stay tuned to see just how well it does!

But while you wait, don't let yourself get bored! Instead, why not check out our list of the best mobile games of 2024 (so far) to see what top games we reckon are worth a play from the last nine months?
