Adult Swim Games Delists More Titles on Steam
Adult Swim Games, now under the ownership of Warner Bros. Discovery, has made the decision to delist several more of its games on the Steam platform. Titles such as Zenzizenzic, Traverser, Super House of Dead Ninjas, and Mega Coin Squad will no longer be available on Steam starting July 15.
This announcement was made through a statement posted on each game’s page, indicating that Adult Swim Games will no longer serve as the publisher and the developer is unable to take over management of the page. The statement shared a message expressing gratitude for players and informing them of the impending removal of the games.
The studio behind Super House of Dead Ninjas, Megadev (now Bitmap Bureau), has expressed interest in repurchasing the IP rights for the game but has yet to receive a response from Warner Bros. The original developers of Zenzizenzic, Mega Coin Squad, and Traverser are no longer in operation.
Adult Swim Games began delisting titles back in March, prompting various responses from affected developers. Some developers, like Michael Molinari of Soundodger+, faced challenges in transferring ownership back to them, while others, like Owen Deery of Small Radios, Big Televisions, opted to make their game available for free download after receiving delisting notices.
Warner Bros. Discovery later reversed the decision for some titles in May, returning ownership of Soundodger+ and Small Radios to their respective developers.
Although Adult Swim Games has been relatively inactive since the release of Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time in 2020, Warner Bros. Discovery continues to focus on established IP and live service games, with titles like MultiVersus, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, and Hogwarts Legacy.
