Design Enhancements
The updated homepage of Gemini features a bluish-gray background in light mode and a fully black background for dark mode. A greeting message 'Hi' now appears at the top with the prompt bar and Gemini's suggestions listed beneath. A spinning animation on the Gemini sparkle logo and more defined prompt box outlines accentuate the new design.
Interface Changes
The left menu now includes a 'My Stuff' section, sorted alongside 'Gems' and 'Chats'. This section stores images, videos, and Canvas creations separately from chats. Users can tap an item to view the conversations linked to that content. Chat conversations now include a dropdown menu offering Share, Pin, Rename, and Delete options.
AI Model Update
The redesign aligns with the rollout of Gemini's latest AI models, which introduce a refreshed AI mode and multimodal responses. These updates aim to improve Google Search with more concise interactive capabilities and smarter engagements.
