Nintendo has launched its official Nintendo Store app on iOS and Android as of 2025-11-05. This app extends the My Nintendo service, initially released in Japan in 2020, offering users a comprehensive platform to engage with their favorite Nintendo products.
App Features and Services
The app allows users to browse through consoles, physical and digital games, accessories, and merchandise. Purchase completion occurs via an in-app browser, simplifying the buying process. Additionally, it provides news updates and sends notifications when wishlist items go on sale.
The application also supports check-ins at physical Nintendo stores or events, enabling users to earn rewards. Moreover, it offers insights into playtime statistics across Nintendo's recent consoles, including the 3DS and Wii U.
User Requirements and Data
To access data for the Wii U and 3DS, users are required to link their Nintendo Network ID (NNID) with their Nintendo Account. It is important to note that play activity recorded after February 2020 on these systems is not included in the app.
