By maintaining approximately 80 percent code parity between Android and iOS versions, Proton Mail facilitates faster development cycles. This design philosophy not only bolsters app performance but also sets the stage for future features, particularly in enhancing the Proton Calendar integration.

The refreshed apps are now available, with iOS users required to update manually via the App Store, while Android users will receive the updated version as distribution expands.
