RetroAchievements, the volunteer project adding achievements to older games, is now in open beta for GameCube on Android using the Dolphin emulator. This version allows players to earn achievements when playing these games, though some features are still absent.
Current Testing Features
Players can earn achievements and see progress notifications in pop-up messages on screen. However, the in-game achievement list feature is currently unavailable. A development build beyond version 2509-503 is required for participation.
Feedback and Development
The RetroAchievements team encourages players to report issues via their Discord channel, aiding progress towards a stable release. Testing aims to refine the achievement experience on Android, ensuring compatibility and functionality.
