STAGE+, the streaming service by Deutsche Grammophon, has launched its Android app, marking its entry into the Android ecosystem on World Opera Day, 2023-10-25. Subscribers can now enjoy free streaming of opera and classical music events on this day.

On World Opera Day, STAGE+ features performances from renowned locations like the Philharmonie de Paris and the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. Highlights include Pretty Yende and Nadine Sierra from the Philharmonie de Paris, and Donizetti from Covent Garden featuring Nadine Sierra and Bryn Terfel. Also available is a Mozart performance from the Wiener Staatsoper starring André Schuen.

Expanded Content and Access
STAGE+ has added new Metropolitan Opera productions, available until early March 2026. Productions include Verdi’s La traviata, Massenet’s Cinderella, Puccini’s La rondine, and Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor, featuring artists like Nadine Sierra, Stephen Costello, and Emily D’Angelo.
In addition to new productions, STAGE+ offers over 50 livestreams annually and an archive of over 1,500 VODs, along with more than 7,000 audio albums from labels such as DG and Decca.
Platform Availability
The STAGE+ app is now accessible on Android Mobile via Google Play and the Samsung Galaxy Store. Users can download content for offline listening and viewing.
