How Androidify Works
Users can begin their journey by selecting or snapping a photo or simply entering a text prompt. With a variety of Bot colors to choose from, users can further employ a built-in prompt helper to refine their inputs. Once satisfied, tapping the Transform button activates the app's algorithms to generate a personalized Bot, which can be further customized before exporting.
The options for export are diverse: images, stickers with backgrounds removed, various wallpaper sizes, banners, and short videos are all available. While basic backgrounds are created instantly, more intricate themed backgrounds take additional processing time. Notably, every Friday, Androidify users can generate an exclusive 8-second video of their Bot, crafted using Google's Veo 3 model.

The underlying AI technology elevates Androidify's personalization capabilities. For text prompts, validation is ensured through Firebase AI Logic SDK and representation is handled by the fine-tuned Imagen model. When working with photos, the Gemini 2.5 Flash model focuses on the most prominent person in the image to create a descriptive prompt, incorporating details like hair, clothing, accessories, and colors, while also considering fit.
The app's development includes sophisticated processes to enhance user safety and protect privacy. Texts and brand logos within images are methodically blurred or removed. Additionally, the app avoids deducing ethnicity or gender and does not capture facial expressions or permanent markings. The ShieldGemma evaluation layer ensures all generated content adheres to Google's safety standards.
