Sora initially debuted on iOS in September, marking its expansion into the global Android market. The app is not yet available in India.

The Sora app utilizes OpenAI's Sora 2 model to create realistic and controllable AI-generated videos and audio. Users can create, remix, and share clips directly from their devices. Sora offers different usage limits based on subscription levels. Free, ChatGPT Plus, and Teams subscribers can create up to 30 videos daily, whereas Pro users can generate up to 100 videos. Additional video generations can be purchased in bundles of ten for $4 each via Apple’s App Store.
