Enhanced Image Capabilities
With Nano Banana Pro, Google's focus is on advancing image quality and text legibility. The model improves calligraphy, textures, and fonts, supporting multi-language text generation. Users can also benefit from new creative controls, which include adjustments on angle, focus, and other attributes.
This version has the capacity to merge up to 14 images consistently and facilitates richer image assembly by pulling recipe details and photos from Google Search.
Availability and Subscription Details
Nano Banana Pro is available from 2025-11-20 within the Gemini app, offering a limited quota to free users before reverting to the standard Nano Banana. AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers receive higher quotas, and Pro features are accessible in AI Mode for Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers. Developers and users of Flow will also notice relevant updates.
The original Nano Banana, launched in August 2025, will remain available for fast, casual projects. It quickly garnered attention, generating hundreds of millions of images by September.
