Nano Banana Pro is available from 2025-11-20 within the Gemini app, offering a limited quota to free users before reverting to the standard Nano Banana. AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers receive higher quotas, and Pro features are accessible in AI Mode for Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers. Developers and users of Flow will also notice relevant updates.
The original Nano Banana, launched in August 2025, will remain available for fast, casual projects. It quickly garnered attention, generating hundreds of millions of images by September.
