A Plus Japan and Nuverse have announced that 'Bleach: Soul Resonance', a 3D action mobile game inspired by Tite Kubo's 'Bleach', will launch globally on Android and iOS later this year. Pre-registrations are currently open, and a game trailer has been released, building anticipation among fans.
Game Features and Design
In 'Bleach: Soul Resonance', players take control of Ichigo Kurosaki to navigate through the storyline, fight battles, and discover unique Zanpakuto weapons. The game emphasizes building bonds between characters to devise strategic advantages during battles. Its visuals are designed with cel-shaded rendered graphics, reflecting the style of the latest anime adaptation.
Context and Expectations
This launch adds to a series of Bleach-themed mobile games, such as 'Bleach: Brave Souls', 'Bleach: Immortal Soul', and 'Bleach: Paradise Lost'. Initially released globally in March 2022, 'Bleach: Brave Souls' has garnered significant player interest, setting expectations for similar success with this new title. The Bleach manga, which ran from 2001 to 2016 and has over 130 million copies in circulation, continues to influence adaptations across various media.
The fourth and final part of the 'Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War' anime is slated for release in 2026, further fueling interest in Bleach-related content.
