Marvel Rivals Launches Cooperative PvE Zombies Mode

NetEase's Marvel Rivals has launched its first cooperative PvE Zombies mode on 2023-10-23, drawing inspiration from the animated series Marvel Zombies and the popular Call of Duty Zombies.

Gameplay Features

The new mode replaces competitive PvP with cooperative missions for up to four players. Players can assume the roles of Thor, Blade, Magik, Jeff, and The Punisher to face off against Namor, the Queen of the Dead, and a vast array of zombies.

  • Thor remains persistently Awakened.
  • Blade executes attacks with bouncing moon blades.
  • Jeff uses a unique charge attack.
  • Magik has unlimited access to her Darkchild form.

Availability and Enhancements

Released on 2023-10-23, the PvE Zombies mode offers enhanced abilities for each character, increasing their effectiveness in missions. NetEase has showcased a gameplay snippet revealing the intense hordes and new character voice lines, emphasizing teamwork and strategic abilities.
