SoftTalk Messenger, created by Simple Azenabor, a Japan-based Nigerian developer, has launched a Creator Partner Program that enables African content creators to monetize their audience engagement directly. The program rewards group administrators and digital community leaders based on monthly engagement scores.
Privacy Features and Platform Capabilities
SoftTalk Messenger prioritizes user privacy by allowing chat and call functions without revealing phone numbers, using @usernames instead. This approach helps protect users from spam and identity breaches. The platform not only provides secure messaging but also offers a variety of features such as text, voice and video calls, a marketplace, and tools for purchasing utilities, mobile data, and airtime.
Creator Monetization and Requirements
The Creator Partner Program offers direct monetization, allowing African creators to retain 100% of their income without intermediaries. To be eligible, groups must have at least 100 members. Monetization status can be tracked via the app's Group Info section.
Platform Availability
Available for both Apple and Android devices, SoftTalk Messenger does not require users to provide a phone number or other sensitive personal information for registration, enhancing user privacy and security.
