Live Notification Features
The update aims to improve the travel experience for Android users. Detailed notifications about gates, stations, and event timings will now be available in real time. Previously, Live Updates focused on food deliveries and ride-shares; this expansion targets travelers.
Gmail and Wallet Integration
Another key enhancement in this update is the deeper integration between Gmail and Wallet. Users with Android 12 or newer will receive notifications when a loyalty pass from Gmail is imported into their Wallet, streamlining digital pass management.
Additional Functionalities
The update also simplifies adding new cards to Wallet through supported apps without needing manual entry. Other changes include mobile verification through reCAPTCHA and features for deleting hidden passkeys in Google Password Manager. New tools are also available for developers to support advertising processes.
