Google Meet has introduced Halloween-themed features using AI and virtual backgrounds. These new effects are available now to Google Workspace users.
Halloween Features
Google Meet's update includes spooky virtual makeup and backgrounds. An additional "Goth Chic" style has been added to the Appearance tab, complementing the existing 12 AI-powered makeup styles. The feature is accessible on both web and mobile platforms.
In the Backgrounds and effects menu, users can transform virtually into characters like mummies or zombies through limited-time filters. Pre-made seasonal backgrounds and AI-generated custom options are also available.
Availability and Access
These Halloween effects launched in October 2023 and are available for Google Workspace customers as well as Google AI Ultra subscribers. The features will remain accessible for a limited period.
