Samsung has released an update for its Good Lock module, RegiStar, improving Back Tap reliability and fixing issues with the Gemini app on Galaxy devices. The update, version 1.0.67, specifically addresses three bugs that previously affected operations on models like the Galaxy Z Flip.
Enhancements and Fixes
The RegiStar update aims to enhance the user experience by resolving several reported issues. One main improvement focuses on Back Tap, a feature allowing specific tasks to be triggered by tapping the back of the phone. This feature's reliability has been enhanced, particularly addressing failures in power-saving mode. Moreover, a critical bug affecting the Gemini app on the cover screen of Samsung's foldable devices, such as the Galaxy Z Flip, has been fixed.
New Features in RegiStar
RegiStar continues to offer users the ability to customize their Samsung device settings more extensively. Users can reorganize the Settings home screen, modify groups, and track settings change history. The module also enables extending functionality through physical gestures, such as strong screen presses and long-pressing the side key on compatible devices like the Galaxy S and Fold 4.
Availability
Users can download the Good Lock module and its RegiStar update through the Galaxy Store app. After installation, the update can be applied through the app's Updates section. This process ensures that users have access to the latest features and fixes, keeping their devices up-to-date.
