Google has launched the Android 16 QPR2 Beta 3.3 update for Pixel 6 and newer devices, including the latest Pixel 10 series and foldables. The update focuses on stability, retaining the October 2025 security patch.
Builds and Compatibility
The update features build BP41.250916.015 for the Pixel 6 series and build BP41.250916.015.A1 for the newer models.
Participants in the Android Beta Program will receive the update over-the-air, facilitating easier access. To install, users can navigate to Settings > System > Software update.
Improvements and Fixes
Google has addressed a significant lock-screen issue (Issue #457527675) that caused devices to freeze after waking, necessitating a restart for resolution.
The company emphasizes the beta’s role in transitioning to a full release later in the year, reflecting ongoing stability commitments.
