Xsolla Launches Buy Button for Android Games

14 Oct 2025

Xsolla has introduced the Buy Button SDK for Android, enabling game developers to launch web-based checkout flows directly from their games. This feature will become available to developers in the U.S. starting on 2025-10-22, following regulatory changes that permit external purchase options.

Revenue and Developer Benefits

The Buy Button SDK allows developers to retain up to 95% of revenue from Android device purchases, a significant increase compared to app store fees that can reach 30%. By leveraging direct sales through developer-owned web stores, developers can establish scalable relationships with their users.

Integration and Features

According to Xsolla, the SDK is lightweight, easy to implement, and can go live within 24 hours. It utilizes a PCI DSS Level 1 compliant payment system and supports convenient features like autofill and one-tap purchases to enhance conversion rates. Integration with Xsolla's Web Shop offers additional monetization tools such as dynamic SKU synchronization, cross-platform rewards, personalized promotions, player segmentation, A/B testing, and Offerwall capabilities.

Chris Hewish, President of Xsolla, emphasized the significance of this launch, citing its speed, security, and empowerment of developers to control their sales and player engagement.
