While we've been enjoying some great game releases this year, there's one that may have slipped under your radar—Civilization Mobile: World Origin. This new addition to the hit Civilization franchise is specifically designed for the Chinese market, offering all the classic 4x features of the original games with a strong emphasis on multiplayer gameplay.
Nostalgia Meets Innovation
The marketing for the game is filled with nods to major figures from the series' past, adding a touch of nostalgia for long-time fans. However, the catch is that the game is currently only available in China, with a closed beta test set for mid-July.
One of the standout features of Civilization Mobile: World Origin is the Four Emperors system, along with a heightened focus on multiplayer interactions. While the game promises to deliver the core strategy and expansion elements that fans love, some may be disappointed by the heavy multiplayer orientation.
