- Updates & alerts: Get alerts about payment method issues, digital car keys, and more.
- Promotional campaigns: Get the latest info about promotional campaigns and the associated rewards and progress.
This new approach not only streamlines the notification process but also ensures that users receive timely and relevant information. For instance, transaction notifications from your phone can now appear on Wear OS devices, offering seamless integration across platforms.
Interestingly, this prompt to enable Google Wallet notifications has not yet appeared on phones. The company had indicated last year that this feature was in the pipeline, suggesting that broader availability might be just around the corner.
