While Kakao did not disclose the specific reasons behind this latest service interruption, it is worth noting that the platform has encountered several outages throughout the year. Notably, a significant 90-minute disruption occurred in July, raising concerns among its vast user base.
With around 45 million monthly active users in South Korea, KakaoTalk remains an integral part of daily communication for many.
