    • Go to the Google Play Store.
    • Search for the emulator that matches the console you want to play on (we are taking the PPSSPP emulator as an example).
    • Download and install the emulator app.
  2. Download PSP Game ROMs (ISO/CSO Files)

    • Search for “ZArchiver” on the Google Play Store.
    • Download and install ZArchiver to help manage and locate your game files.
  4. Extract ROM Files
    • Open ZArchiver and create a folder named “PSP.” Inside it, create another folder named “GAME.”
    • Select the game and extract the ROM file to this newly created folder inside “PSP” on your device.
  5. Open PPSSPP and Locate the Game
    • Open the PPSSPP app.
    • Browse your device’s storage to find the folder where you extracted your ROMs.
    • Tap on the game you want to play to load it.
    • Use the “Pin” feature to save your game to the top.
  6. Enjoy your PSP game on your Android device!

How much did PSP games cost?

The cost of PSP games varied widely depending on the title, publisher, and release date. When the PlayStation Portable (PSP) was first released, new games typically ranged from $30 to $50 USD. Over time, as the console aged and the market evolved, prices for new PSP games could drop to as low as $10 for budget titles or go even lower for used copies. Additionally, certain rare or collector's edition games could fetch higher prices.

How to play PSP games on Switch?

Playing PSP games on the Nintendo Switch requires a process known as emulation. Here's a general overview of the steps: 1) You must first install custom firmware on your Switch, which can void your warranty and is against Nintendo's terms of service. 2) Download and install a PSP emulator like PPSSPP. 3) Obtain PSP game ROMs, which you must legally own. 4) Load the ROMs through the emulator on the Switch. Note: This process is technically complex and legally grey, and should be approached with caution.
