A concerning vulnerability has been identified on Google Pixel devices, attributed to a demo application provided by Verizon, as reported by researchers at iVerify. According to iVerify’s findings, the malicious characteristics of this app could facilitate man-in-the-middle (MITM) attacks, compromising the integrity of the Android software on Pixel devices. In response to this alarming discovery, Google has announced that it is actively working on a software update aimed at removing the Verizon demo app from all affected Pixel phones.
