With the app's interface, users can access the Messages tab through their profile photo. This tab conveniently recommends accounts they have interacted with, including playlist collaborators, jam session participants, or family plan members.

Starting conversations has been made versatile; users can initiate chats directly from the Messages tab or by utilizing the share button available on any piece of content. Moreover, the Messages tab serves as a hub to return to ongoing chats or manage message requests.

Rollout and Accessibility

The new feature is set to gradually roll out to both free and Premium Spotify users who are 16 years or older. Initially, this rollout will only encompass mobile devices in select markets.
