Google has integrated the "Ingredients to Video" feature into the Gemini app through the updated version, Veo 3.1. This enhancement allows Gemini users to employ reference photos to guide video creation.
New Feature Details
The "Ingredients to Video" tool, previously part of Google’s Flow, enables more precise video composition by using images to direct video generation. Users can upload reference photos, including AI-generated ones from Imagen, to influence elements like character design, style, and environment in their videos. This approach aims to streamline video prompts by reducing required text detail.
Subscriber Access and Limitations
The rollout of Veo 3.1’s new feature starts immediately for Google AI Plus, Google AI Pro, and Google AI Ultra subscribers. Google assures that all paid users of these tiers will have access by next week. Despite the enhancements, Veo 3 still encounters limitations in generating certain content types compared to competitors like Sora.
