Dynasties of the East introduces four new civilization variants: The Golden Horde (Mongols), The Macedonian Dynasty (Byzantines), Sengoku Daimyo (Japanese), and The Tughlaq Dynasty (Delhi Sultanate). These expansions provide diverse strategic options for players.
The DLC also includes eight new maps and six biomes featuring unique terrain such as Greek islands, tropical rainforests, and black sand beaches.
Innovative Gameplay Mode
A notable addition is The Crucible, a new single-player mode with a roguelite twist. Players choose a civilization and tackle procedurally generated battles with varied objectives and increasing difficulty. Players can earn rewards and permanent upgrades, deepening the strategic experience.
