Navigate through traditional mechanics: move left, right, and jump. Utilize a special button to throw seeds that sprout into mushrooms or roots on green surfaces. Mushrooms boost your jumps, while roots form platforms. The game features two challenging yet short levels, each completable in under 30 minutes. Despite the difficulty, strategically placed checkpoints ensure a balanced experience. Ascent boasts beautiful graphics powered by Unreal Engine and a responsive control system, best enjoyed with an Xbox 360 controller.
