Microsoft has addressed two significant bugs in Windows 11 that were causing Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) crashes and Wi-Fi connectivity issues.
BSOD and Wi-Fi Issues
The BSOD problem, identified as KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE, was linked to specific graphics card configurations and a fault in the DirectX memory system file, dxgmms2.sys. Additionally, a separate bug in the optional January update (KB5074105) disrupted Wi-Fi connections using the WPA3-Personal security protocol.
Resolution in Latest Build
Both issues have been resolved in Windows 11 Build 26200.7840 (KB5077181) and subsequent versions. Microsoft is rolling out these updates to users in phases to ensure stability and effectiveness.
These updates are crucial for maintaining system reliability and connectivity, especially for users relying on secure Wi-Fi networks and high-performance graphics.
