In a recent concept video, BrentTech presented a vision for Windows 12.1 that diverges from the expectations of many users. While feedback from the community has largely favored incremental improvements, BrentTech’s design draws inspiration from a previously leaked prototype, showcasing a floating taskbar and repositioned system icons reminiscent of macOS.

Unlike the current version, where widgets slide in from the left, this concept integrates them directly into the Start menu, allowing for a more streamlined user experience.
