Microsoft has rolled out enhancements to its AI agent in the Settings app for Windows 11 Copilot+ PCs. These upgrades enhance user interaction with settings and introduce efficiency improvements.

Enhanced Search and Suggestions

The updated AI agent now offers more suggestions when users search for settings. It not only identifies relevant options but also suggests related settings users might need. If a query cannot be fulfilled, like adjusting brightness or volume beyond its limit, the agent provides guidance to the user with a relevant slider display.

Quick Access Features

Another key update in the AI agent is the introduction of a feature that surfaces recently used settings on the home panel, allowing quick re-access. This feature specifically benefits new users who might struggle with finding and accessing settings efficiently.

Additional Updates and Dark Mode

In addition to AI advancements, the Run dialog in Windows 11 has been updated to respect dark mode settings, switching to a dark background. The feature improvements focus primarily on Copilot+ PCs, which utilize an on-device NPU, and are not available on traditional Windows 11 PCs without such hardware.
