Windows 11 Insiders have gained access to a new Shared Audio feature, allowing simultaneous audio streaming to two separate Bluetooth devices. Users can activate it via Quick Settings by selecting 'shared audio (preview)' and choosing from paired devices.
Supported Devices and Compatibility
The feature utilizes Bluetooth LE Audio, and is presently compatible with Windows 11 Copilot+ PCs, including Surface laptops, Surface Pro tablets, and Samsung Galaxy Book4 and Book5 models. Supported Bluetooth devices include Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro, Buds3, Buds3 Pro, and Sony's WH-1000XM6 headphones. Additionally, it extends to LE Audio hearing aids by ReSound and Beltone.
Enhancements in Preview Build
Preview Build 26220.7051 of Windows 11 brings further enhancements for handheld gaming PCs. Devices such as the ROG Ally and MSI Claw benefit from improved full-screen experiences, enhancing performance and fluid task switching.
