Google Keep to Adopt New Material 3 UI Design

The current FAB in Google Keep is a smaller squircle with a plus sign. The upcoming design will make the FAB larger and more prominent, featuring an × symbol inside a circle when tapped. This change aims to enhance user interaction and visibility within the app.

Release Timing and Details

These updates are not yet visible to users but have been referenced in Google Keep version 5.26.071.01. This suggests that developers have prepared the update, which could be enabled remotely. While an APK teardown can reveal such work-in-progress features, it is not guaranteed they will reach public release.
