The popular game Dead by Daylight has reintroduced its 2v8 mode as part of a Konami Takeover event, starting on 2023-11-06. This update brings iconic characters Dracula and Pyramid Head as killers, and introduces new survivors, increasing gameplay excitement.
New Characters and Features
With the return of the 2v8 mode, players will experience matches involving two killers and eight survivors on larger maps. The new characters include Dracula and Pyramid Head, well-known from Konami's franchises. Joining them are survivors Cheryl Mason from Silent Hill and Trevor Belmont from Castlevania, who will be available to play throughout the event.
Event-Themed Outfits
The Konami Takeover includes unique, thematic outfits for the characters. Trevor Belmont can now be seen in a Richter Belmont outfit, while Dracula sports the Scorched Terror attire. Cheryl Mason is equipped with the Awakened Order ritual outfit, and The Executioner, resembling Pyramid Head, features a bloody, fleshy coverall adorned with chains.

The event commenced on 2023-11-06 at 11am PST, 2pm EST, 7pm BST, and 8pm CEST. This period allows players to enjoy the new additions and explore the updated game dynamics, giving both new and returning players fresh content to experience in Dead by Daylight.
