LICEcap is a game changer! I've never been able to create such crisp screen captures before. Seriously, this has changed my whole workflow! Can't imagine living without it now. You gotta try it!

I found LICEcap decent enough, though the GIFs can take a little while to save, which is annoying at times. The basics are covered well, but it could use more advanced features for power users.
