Impact on Non-Facebook Users
For those using Messenger without a Facebook account, the mobile app remains a viable option. However, users who prefer desktop access will need to create or reactivate a Facebook account to continue their conversations online. Meta assures that the core messaging service will continue without interruption on these platforms.
