In a major overhaul earlier this year, Mojang introduced over 3,000 new textures to Minecraft. Shadows have been improved, and water reflections added a new depth to the game. Continuing its efforts, Mojang has polished the visual elements, smoothing out lighting and color transitions. The subtle adjustments include gamma calibration to prevent shadows from appearing too dark or washed out.
Future Tweaks
Upcoming revisions will focus on water in various biomes. Developers are experimenting with water colors to enhance underwater exploration. Paired with new features like the nautilus mount, these changes are expected to enrich the gaming experience.
