New Features and Fixes in The Third Edict Update

The recent update for Path of Exile 2, titled The Third Edict, has been welcomed with a positive reception from the community. Grinding Gear Games has been responsive, releasing 13 hotfixes so far and preparing patch 0.3.0b to tackle remaining concerns.

These creatures will gradually gain their full skill sets across various acts, offering players increased strategic depth in their gameplay. Additionally, the disorienting motion blur effect, previously experienced upon closing an Abyssal Pit, has been removed—a change that is sure to please players who found the visual effect jarring.

Sprint Mechanic and Boss Rebalancing

The most talked-about addition is the new sprint mechanic. This mechanic allows players to move without enemy lock-on, providing greater mobility. However, it comes with a risk as players may find themselves tripped and momentarily stunned, adding a layer of tactical consideration to its usage.
