During the video, Copilot advised the user to change the 'Scale' in Display settings, rather than the text size in Accessibility. This oversight was significant, as Display affects multiple visual elements like apps and items collectively, a contrast to specific text size adjustments in Accessibility. Moreover, the ad demonstrated Copilot recommending a 150% scale, which was already set, before the user independently opted for 200%.
Verification and User Concerns
According to Windows Latest, a test of the same prompt by Copilot correctly led users to Accessibility, though the ad itself presented inaccurate guidance. This incident calls attention to the lack of thorough verification and the potential pitfalls of publicizing still-developing AI features.
