To insert AutoText in MS Word, first, ensure AutoText is enabled by going to the 'Insert' tab, selecting 'Quick Parts,' and choosing 'Building Blocks Organizer.' Next, type the name of the AutoText entry you want to insert and press 'F3'. Alternatively, go to 'Insert' -> 'Text' -> 'Quick Parts' -> 'AutoText' and choose the desired entry from the list.

In Word 2010, AutoText entries are stored in the Normal.dotm template file by default. This file is typically located in the 'Templates' folder within your user profile directory. You can navigate to this location by following this path: C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates.

To add AutoText in Word 2007, first, select the text or graphic you want to save as AutoText. Then, go to the 'Insert' tab, click 'Quick Parts,' and select 'Save Selection to Quick Part Gallery.' In the 'Create New Building Block' dialog box, enter a name for the AutoText entry, choose 'AutoText' in the 'Gallery' dropdown, and click 'OK' to save it.
