The updated text now states, “Many of the settings in Control Panel are in the process of being migrated to the Settings app, which offers a more modern and streamlined experience.” This indicates that while the Control Panel is not disappearing, its features are gradually being integrated into a more contemporary interface.
Despite this clarification, questions linger regarding the motivation behind the change in wording. Was it a strategic decision prompted by the recent media frenzy, or merely a miscommunication that required rectification?
