Use the toolbar on the left to select different tools like brushes, erasers, and shapes. Layers can be managed on the right panel, allowing you to draw on separate layers without affecting other parts of your artwork. Save your work in FireAlpaca's format (.mdp) or export it as other image files like PNG or JPEG.

To open a picture as a layer in FireAlpaca, follow these steps: go to 'File' in the top menu, then select 'Open', and choose the picture you want to add. The picture will open in a new tab. Use the 'Select' tool to select the entire image or a part of it, then copy it using 'Ctrl+C'. Go back to your original canvas, create a new layer in the Layers panel, and paste the copied image using 'Ctrl+V'. You can then move and transform the picture within this new layer.

To open a reference picture in FireAlpaca, you can use the 'Reference' window feature. Go to 'Window' in the top menu and select 'Reference'. A new window will appear. Click on 'File' within this window and select 'Open', then choose the reference picture from your files. This reference window can be resized and moved around, allowing you to keep it visible while you work on your main canvas.

Drawing a galaxy in FireAlpaca involves several steps. Start with a dark background layer as your base. Create new layers for different elements like stars, nebulas, and planets. Use a soft round brush for nebula clouds, applying different colors and blending them together. For stars, use a small round brush with white or light colors, and add some glow effects using the airbrush tool. Planets can be created using selection tools and gradient fills. Experiment with layer modes like 'Add' or 'Overlay' to enhance the glow and blending effects.

To use the watercolor brush in FireAlpaca, first select the watercolor brush from the brush list on the left toolbar. You can adjust the brush size and opacity to your preference. The watercolor effect is achieved by varying the pressure and speed of your strokes. Lighter strokes will appear more transparent, while heavier strokes will be more opaque. You can blend colors by layering light strokes over each other. Additionally, use the 'Blend' tool to smudge and blend different areas to achieve a more natural watercolor effect.
