For its mid-season update on June 26, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is adding a new playlist called Bit Party. This unique playlist pixelates a popular map from MW3, giving it a whimsical and retro feel. Players are encouraged to stay calm as their own pixelated heads grow in size based on their success.
Enter Bitvela: A Pixelated Playground
In Bit Party, players will enter Bitvela, a playful version of the classic Favela map from Modern Warfare 2. This pixelated map can accommodate 12 players in various 6v6 modes, offering a fun twist on the traditional gameplay.
While most player models remain realistic, their heads will inflate in size with each kill, resetting only upon death. Head sizes range from small to medium to large, adding a humorous element to the gameplay reminiscent of Big Head mode in Goldeneye.
Strategic Gameplay with a Humorous Twist
Despite the risk of being an easier target with a larger head, players can benefit from increased scores based on head size. Holding objectives or completing tasks with a bigger head will earn more points, adding a strategic element to the gameplay.
Bit Party will be available in MW3 from June 26 to July 3 as part of the “Retro Warfare” event. Players can also purchase the 8-Bit Bliz bundle from MW3’s store, featuring pixelated versions of iconic Modern Warfare characters like Ghost, Soap MacTavish, Captain Price, and Farah.
