Play Store Offers Better Privacy Controls to Users

Once preferences are set, a notification will confirm the changes, stating, “App won’t be used for personalization in Play.” Notably, adjustments may take up to 24 hours to fully implement.
Other New Play Features: AI Curated Content, Multi-Game Support
In addition to the personalization features, Google is set to roll out AI-generated reviews and information for apps within the Play Store. This enhancement will present users with app highlights, showcasing various features and functionalities. Furthermore, users will benefit from AI-curated spaces tailored to their interests, moving beyond mere related app suggestions. A prime example is the newly launched curated comics space in Japan, which offers previews, relevant events, trailers, and editor’s picks.
For users in the United States, a new widget feature allows them to pin Play Store collections directly to their home screens, facilitating easy access to diverse content without the need to open the app store. Additionally, Google Play Games on PC is receiving a noteworthy upgrade with multi-game support, enabling users to run two games simultaneously. This update also allows for seamless transitions between mobile devices and PCs, letting players pause a game on their phone or tablet and continue on their computer later.
