Beats by Dr. Dre is teaming up with Minecraft to release a special edition Solo 4 headphone celebrating the game’s 15th anniversary. The on-ear headphones feature a Minecraft-inspired pixelated design with metallic green hinges and include the iconic “Creeper” character.
This exclusive partnership embodies the intersection of music and creativity, which continue to be integral parts of both brands. Through music and blocks, there’s no limit to what players can imagine as they shape their own world.
With the purchase of the Beats Solo 4 – Minecraft Special Edition headphone, customers will receive a unique code to redeem an in-game headphone character creator item. Minecraft content creator TinaKitten will also curate a Spatial Audio playlist available exclusively on Apple Music.

To accompany the collaboration, Beats and Minecraft released a short animated film soundtracked by GRAMMY Award-winning band Imagine Dragons. The film features the Solo 4 headphone while taking viewers on a journey through the world of Minecraft, set to Imagine Dragon’s new song “Wake Up.”

The Beats x Minecraft collaboration joins Minecraft’s 15th Anniversary celebration campaign, which kicked off on May 15th with “15 Days of Minecraft” where the franchise unveiled a range of special announcements, partnerships and free creator items to surprise and delight the Minecraft community.
Beats Solo 4 – Minecraft Special Edition ($349.99 USD / £199.99 GBP) will be available beginning July 18th at apple.com, ee.co.uk, target.com, Apple Fifth Ave, and at the EE Studio store in Westfield London, White City.
