IGF Celebration Days Sale Offers Discounts on Award-Winning Indie Games
The annual Independent Games Festival has once again brought attention to some of the best indie games of the year, ranging from critically acclaimed titles to innovative student projects. This year, Steam has teamed up with the IGF and indie publisher Crunching Koalas to present the IGF Celebration Days sale, which will be running until July 20.
During this sale, gamers can enjoy discounts on IGF award winners from both the current year and previous years. For example, the mind-bending cinemaphile puzzler Immortality by Sam Barlow and Half Mermaid is now available at 50% off, its lowest price ever. Fans can also grab Barlow’s previous award-winning game, Her Story, at a whopping 90% discount.
Other highlights of the sale include the well-received sci-fi clone saga 1000xResist at 10% off, as well as a bundle featuring Night School’s popular talky adventures—Oxenfree, Oxenfree 2, and Afterparty—at a 60% discount.
In addition to the discounted games, the IGF Celebration Days sale also offers a video feed showcasing developer talks, trailers, and livestreams. Gamers can also look forward to upcoming games from IGF-awarded developers and publishers, with demos of titles like Sorry We’re Closed, Sumerian Six, and Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island available for download.
