Besiege fans will be pleased to hear that the Splintered Sea campaign is set to receive an update on July 22nd, bringing new levels, challenges, and enemies to the game. The expansion, which launched in May, introduced detailed water physics and nautically-inspired building parts, but some players felt that the campaign was lacking in depth.
Developer Spiderling Responds to Feedback
Developer Spiderling has listened to player feedback and promises to increase the campaign length by 50%, adding tougher and more interesting levels to the game. The update will also introduce a new enemy in the form of a large tentacled seabeast, affectionately named Hortensia by the community.
If you’re not familiar with Besiege, it’s a physics-driven war machine builder that has been entertaining players since its early access launch in 2015. The game has received positive reviews and continues to delight players with its creative gameplay.
