Legion Arena FAQ

To disable Blizzard Arena Frames in Legion, you can use an addon like 'Blizzard Arena Frames - Disabler.' Download and install the addon through your preferred addon manager. Once installed, the addon will automatically disable the default Blizzard Arena Frames. Alternatively, you can use the '/daf' command in-game to toggle the frames on or off.

Arena rating in Legion works by matching teams of similar ratings against each other in Player vs. Player (PvP) combat. Winning matches increases your rating, while losing decreases it. The matchmaking system uses a hidden Matchmaking Rating (MMR) to pair teams. Higher ratings open access to better PvP gear and rewards. Your rating adjusts more drastically when starting out or when there's a significant rating difference between teams.

In Legion, you can buy 'Arena Water' from vendors found in major cities like Dalaran. Head to the 'First Aid' vendors or the 'General Goods' vendors who sell consumables. The item might be listed under different names such as 'Starcursed Water' but serves the same purpose of regenerating health and mana quickly between PvP battles.

In Legion, the concept of Arena Teams was replaced by a queuing system. You no longer need to form formal teams. Instead, you can queue for Arena matches either solo or with friends. Open the 'Group Finder' tool, navigate to the 'PvP' tab, select 'Arena,' and choose either 2v2, 3v3, or 5v5 brackets. Invite your friends or queue solo to find teammates automatically. Your rating will be tracked individually.
