To make pixel art in Piskel, follow these steps: 1. Open Piskel and create a new sprite. 2. Choose your canvas size and the background color. 3. To download a Piskel file: 1. Save your work by clicking on 'File' in the top menu. 2. Select 'Save as .piskel' to keep your project editable. 3. Click on the 'Download' button that appears, which will save the .piskel file to your computer. This file format preserves your layers, frames, and settings for future editing in Piskel.

To make a GIF in Piskel: 1. Create or open your animated sprite project. 2. Ensure that your animation frames are complete. 3. Click on 'Export' in the top right corner. 4. Choose the 'Animated GIF' option. 5. Adjust the scale and frame rate settings as needed. 6. Click 'Download'. Your animation will be saved as a .gif file that can be shared or uploaded online.
