Healing the Dark Sigil in Dark Souls 3 removes the Dark Sigils from the player's inventory, thus stopping the Hollowing process. This reverses any accumulated Hollowing and resets the character's appearance to its normal state, negating the visual effects of Hollowing.

If you heal the Dark Sigil, it removes all Dark Sigils from your inventory, therefore stopping further Hollowing and resetting your Hollowing level to zero. This prevents you from transforming into a Hollow and sacrifices the accumulation of free levels obtained through Yoel of Londor's drawing out your true strength.

Whether you should heal the Dark Sigil in Dark Souls 3 depends on your gameplay goals. Healing it will prevent further Hollowing and restore your character's appearance, but it also locks you out of the Usurpation of Fire ending—one of the game's multiple endings. Consider your priorities and desired storyline before deciding.

When you heal the Dark Sigil in Dark Souls 3, all accumulated Dark Sigils are removed from your inventory, which ends the Hollowing process and sets your Hollowing level back to zero. You lose any benefits gained from being Hollow, such as free levels from Yoel of Londor, and it also precludes you from achieving the Usurpation of Fire ending.
