To start TCPView, you need to first download it from the Sysinternals website. Extract the downloaded ZIP file to a folder of your choice. Within that folder, locate the executable file named 'Tcpview.exe' and double-click it to launch the application. No installation is required as it is a portable application. Once launched, TCPView will immediately start displaying the active TCP and UDP connections on your system.

TCPView is a Windows program that shows detailed listings of all TCP and UDP endpoints on your system, including the local and remote addresses and the state of TCP connections. To use it, download and extract the tool from the Sysinternals website, then run 'Tcpview.exe'. The main window will display all active connections, and you can sort and filter them by various criteria. Active connections are listed in real-time. You can sort the columns to organize the data as needed. Double-clicking on a connection row provides more detailed information about that connection. Colors are used to indicate state changes: green for new connections, yellow for changes, and red for closed connections.
